This was painted from a photo I took while walking through the Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia, PA. You never know when an interesting scene will pop up on to the horizon - I've learned it always helps to carry a camera.
Loretta Luglio
My background is in graphic and web design and after being employed by a large corporation for 30 years as a graphic artist I am pleased to be back working full time at my first love, painting. My work is executed primarily in oil but I do work in watercolor and pastel. I have many interests and prefer to paint a variety of subject matter, including scenes from the Eastern Shore of Maryland where I spend much of my time in the summer. My studio is located in Bucks County, PA. Currently, I am concentrating on Bucks County, PA scenes. I am fortunately to live in two beautiful areas: one on the Chesapeake Bay and my primary residence here in historical Bucks County.
I attended the Phila. Art Institute and GADV (Graphic Arts of Deleware Valley). Studied under Robert Spriggle and Jaunita Crosby, both prominent fine artists located in Southern New Jersey.
On the graphic design side (though not my focus on this site) I am Adobe Certified in Illustrator and Photoshop software.
