My name is Dinesh V Ramalingam I was born in Petaling Jaya Malaysia on June 17th 1973
since as a child I have been exposed to the arts as my late father was a professional make-up Artist for film and tv malaysia and for the royal queen of the Perak state of Malaysia and my beautiful mother inspiring and praising every artwork that I completed and gaining strength with her words and best cooking. Coming from the beautiful highlands with lush of green made me love art and nature even more. During these childhood years tagging my late father for all kinds of production events , exhibition, dramas ,performing arts, theatre plays and tv commercials has inspired me to draw color and make things with my hands with the love of my mother and .my late father giving me inspiration all these years
I am who I am today painting and creating art today regardless of how hard to make a living as an artist when you have no sponsorship so I became a nature tourist guide to find more time to paint and film making in between when the script is good hiking in the day to pay my rent bread and butter and my oil tubes to paint in the starry night in the highlands in my little cabin house where I was before and finding music in between my ears that I found mood. as I love world music ,ethnic music, new age music, smooth jazz, classical for constant work lol and 80s music following the era I was brought up to inspire my artworks when I am in a isolated box painting and creating
I get my inspiration through mother-nature as I bow down to all gods kingdom that he has made for us on earth to make use of them wisely. I have had only one art exhibition at Japanese culture centre in Kuala Lumpur during my film making studies when we had over convocation seminar there
I was born as fine artist and I will die as a fine artist
I appreciate relaxation and think this is art to me
I thank God and his angels day by day for molding me in the arts
