These glass lenses and prisms show a fun display of the light spectrum. I was hired to photograph these glass pieces in black and white many years ago. When I saw the beautiful color refractions, I had to photograph it with color film
I photograph a lot of nature subjects. I’m really interested in the desert subjects of cactus plants. Although, this is found in Southern California and not really in the desert, it screams “I want to be a cactus”. I say this because of its sharp spines protecting this bold flower. This is a variety of the Artichoke Thistle. And, it shows that weeds can be beautiful too.
Kelley is a commercial photographer with over 20 years of photography knowledge. He is a graduate from the Art Institute of Seattle, and now a Southern California freelance photographer. He is a well established commercial photographer, and just recently made his fine art available to the public.
