Artist's statement:
No matter what the artist's philosophy is, or what methods are used, IDEALLY, the painting should stand alone. When a painting is appreciated, not because of who painted it, or how it was painted, but because it successfully communicates the artist's intention, then that is when something worthwhile has been created.
